Michael Boaden - Europe, Middle East & Africa

Michael is a dual Swiss/British travel industry professional with over 20 years international travel industry experience.
Michael began his travel industry career in airline operations with American Airlines in the 1980s at Zürich airport. Following this, Michael joined Delta Air Lines, where he went on to manage sales & marketing activities in Switzerland and Southern Germany for the carrier, where he grew the number of daily departures there from 2 to 4. In 2001 Michael moved to Travelport (then Galileo / Cendant) to initially take over their Swiss Operations. Following successful growth in that market, Michael was given greenfield roles as Regional Manager DACH markets and later, Director Strategic Sales EMEA where he led and inspired specialist teams to drive significant incremental revenue with multi-national and global travel organizations.
Michael is fluent in English, German and Swiss German - MBA qualified (Uni. Leicester, U.K.) and is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing.

 

Hans Ebeling - Asia

Born and raised in the Netherlands, Hans has worked at a number of respected travel agents / tour operators in a number of European countries. After working in passenger sales for Singapore Airlines in Holland, Hans moved to London, where he worked for Lufthansa.
He joined Galileo International at their head office in Swindon, UK where he led and launched their hotel product (RoomMaster), followed in account management for their key European airlines / suppliers. In 1998 he was promoted to manage 12 distributor partners in Asia for Galileo, based at their regional APAC HQ in Hong Kong. As General Manager, he managed the largest wholly owned operations in Asia of Galileo / Travelport in Hong Kong, growing revenue, headcount, and market share. As a Director, he set up Corporate Development in Asia and managed key Travel Management Companies (TMC's) such as CWT, HRG, Kuoni, FCm and IMTG for Travelport in Asia.
He is fluent in Dutch, English, French and German and is living in Hong Kong.
 

Justin Appi - Australia & New Zealand

Justin is an MBA qualified senior business consultant and manager with a broad background in the airline, travel and payments industries. He has accrued over 19 years in the airline and travel related industries encompassing a diverse range of operational, systems and commercial roles throughout Asia Pacific.
In recent years Justin has held the role of Business Development Director Asia Pacific for eNett International. In this capacity Justin was responsible for managing multiple markets for eNett’s suite of innovative payment solutions.  
Justin’s specific areas of expertise include business development, account management, payments, e-commerce strategy, loyalty programs, travel distribution, yield and inventory management, project management, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
 

Fitzhugh Patrick - Americas

Fitz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.   He has years of sales and marketing experience in the aviation, airline, travel industry and travel technology channels.   He began his career as a corporate sales representative in Washington D.C. with SAS Scandinavian Airlines.   From there he was promoted to district sales manager for New England and eastern Canada based in Boston, MA.   He then moved on to the role of Global Account Manager for Swissair based in New York City.   In 2002 he moved on to Travelport as their business development manager for business intelligence products and data.   He successfully sold BI solutions to airlines and travel companies such as CSA Czech Airlines,  COPA Airlines, Virgin America, Expedia, Eurostar and BCD Global.   From Travelport he moved on to RateGain, Ltd. As the VP of business development for the Americas selling price intelligence solutions to such companies as Vayama.com and ACE rent a car.
